Vcashpoint grant for Social Entrepreneurs

V, the National Young Volunteers Service has launched vcashpoint, a funding project looking to provide grants for young people aged between 16-25 in England who are looking to set up a voluntary community project.
The partnership between V and the HSBC, has invested £1 million in vcashpoint as a ‘Match Fund’ project, with grants up to £2,500 available for young applicants.
According to the website over 457 young people have been able to action their volunteering projects through vcashpoint funding since its launch in 2007, which went on to generate over 1700 volunteering opportunities.
