In dreams I walk with you…
In the park; fragrant fresh grass, radiant flowers in bloom, cumulus clouds…freedom.
On the beach; free flowing tides, luminous horizons fading to the iridescent moon…reflection.
In life; spiralling scenarios, clocks tick, happy days…forever.
In dreams I talk with you…
In easy conversation; good vibes resonate, heightened intonation, facial animation…exhilaration.
In therapy; stress dissipates, fears diminish, mental restoration…relaxation.
In expression; creative visions, poetry in motion, ambitious expectation…inspiration.
In dreams I smile with you…
In humour; rapturous laughter, tears escape, jovial friends…beaming.
It’s esoteric; reserved for few, unique understanding, as I smile and you do too…connection.
In union; eyes lock, you look up, I look away, can’t help but smirk…magnetism.
In dreams I lay with you….
In comfort; hands intertwined, tender embrace, devotion evoking hugs…security.
In warmth; delectable kisses, heavenly touch, promising play…excitement.
In passion; smothered screams in the heat…deep, curved back, burning skin… indescribable chemistry, souls and energy…ecstasy.
In dreams I listen with you…
To a symphony of sounds that unite us, soft whispers of inherent inhalations as our breaths become one; intrinsic vibrations signify heart beats synchronised like rhythmic drums…bonded.
In dreams I love you.
In dreams I am with you…
Because in reality I am not.

Thanks guys. J.W. the inspiration behind it was two-fold, one it kinda relates to some dreams that I’ve been having lately and two an Alicia Keys song I’ve been listening to called ‘Distance & Time’ about lovers that can’t be together for whatever reason. I wanted to write something bitter-sweet, the bitter part being lovers that are seperated by distance, circumstance, death etc but the sweet part that dreams are an a form of escapism where you still get to see them.
