In Search Of,
Unanswered questions,
That stand the test of time,
Maybe in the next life time,
I’ll have someone to call mine
In this crazy journey called life,
My chosen place,
Has no resting destination,
I need to find the pace,
To rest this ailing heart.
I’m going around in circles,
Retracing the footsteps.
I’m trapped in this cycle
Of understood misconceptions
I’m travelling through emotions
Of distant relations.
I choose to accept change,
So I can paint the image
Of what is perfect.
But what is perfect?
Can the dream in front of me
Be so real?
Or is the jagged outline
Crumbling to my feet?
The symbols and signs
All around me
Unravelling the gift he was to me,
Recreating the retrospective
Learning to love myself
Learning to let go
In search of…
You.
