Throwback Poetry: A Thin Line Between Love & Hate

There’s a thin line between love and hate they say
How’s that possible if they’re opposites we say
It’s true, coz you must love someone to hate them he says
Nah bruv, that’s not logical I say
Leon think about all the people you truthfully hate he says
I’ve thought about it what’s your point I say
Now is that person not someone you cared for he says
Evidentially he had a valid point
But that’s just me there’s other hate issues I say
Exactly what issues do you mean he says
There’s hatred for people we don’t know she says
Why and how would you hate someone you didn’t know? He says
Exactly he says as we pause to think. So Im right then..he says
Erm..no I say. She was tryna say you can hate people you don’t love
Now you’re going back to your first point. Make a new point. he says
Love is to have a deep, tender feeling or attraction I say
Or to have a feeling of intense desire and affection she says
Very well put my friends but I still aint convinced he says
Ever wonder how you can turn from hate to love he says
A simple action can turn your hate to love he says
Never gonna happen in this lifetime I say
Define hate for me and hear the similarities he says
Hate is the feeling of hostility and animosity I say
And to feel dislike or distaste she says
The thin line is the attraction, for you must be attracted to what it is to hate it he says
Either one is form of attraction one being more abstract than the other he says.
DO YOU AGREE? (Oh and look at the first letter in each line)
