Hey…Daddy?!

It took weeks, months, heck maybe even a year or two, of scratching my head, itching my weave…..just trying to figure out why some men (maybe most) like to be referred to as ‘daddy’ during intimacy…I just didn’t get it. Call me immature but I was like ‘ewww!’ why would anyone want to think about their dad when having sex?!?
So for anyone who thinks its borderline sick…twisted…disturbing maybe…freakiness gone too far…yeah so did I! I say ‘did’ because now when I think about it properly…it’s actually not that bad - I get it now…. For those who are still thinking ‘huh?’, I’ll elaborate:
Men like respect. Men like power. Men like submission. Men like to feel like they are in charge. I call it Superman Syndrome. We all know that ‘daddy’(the parent) is the man of the house, daddy runs things, daddy gets respect, daddy has authority, daddy receives plenty of submission, and to his little girl…daddy is pretty much superman!
With that in mind, sexual performance is important to a man (well most I imagine) so they want to feel like superman in the bedroom (…or wherever). With all the strong associations with the word daddy, it’s not really rocket science why being called daddy will feel and sound good to the man who loves it! And if your boyfriend/husband performs ‘daddy duties’ in the relationship then I guess he has earned the title!
After hearing Usher’s latest tune ‘Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)’, it seems that this concept of being called ‘daddy’ is becoming even more appealing. However, just because Usher likes to be called daddy, it doesn’t mean it will fit well with every man. So I ask, ‘would you like to be called daddy?’ and to the ladies, ‘how do you feel about calling him daddy?’ I asked a few people on their take…

And what do I think? This whole daddy thing, yeah I get it…but it doesn’t mean I’m going to get with it. Then again, if I’m really in the moment then he should be able to get me to say pretty much anything he wants! Then again…it’s like being called mummy?! Ok, I think I’m going to pass on this lingo for now, but what’s your take on it? Is daddy a mood thriller…or killer?!
Just remember ladies & gents that whatever you won’t do for your man/woman….someone else will!!!

Well… To b fair, its jus one of those things that have been socially accepted no matter where the orginal meaning came from! We all know (well should know or have a ruff idea) that is not ment in some strange perverted way! Same way if we here some1 say! “I’m goin back to my crib” we don’t think oh he must b goin back to where his child is sleepin! Or if u call sum1 your baby, u don’t think its actually ur child! Why should this be seen or interpeted in some weird and on way??

Eileen I think it’s a great take and explanation to why you think guys like being called “Daddy” I think it’s more of an American thing though.
I don’t know if you watched Big Brother last year, with that mixed Raced girl from Ireland Noreen, and her American boyfriend Isaac. He must have come in to the house, and said to her……..” Its alryt, cause “Daddy’s” back” Lol… It was just too funny.

LOL, wow, I am not sure I would want my girl to call me Daddy. Something seems dodge with that…but good article I never saw it like that.
I’ve never actually viewed it this way. As much as I like to feel my Man is incharge and in control I would never come straight out and call him ‘Daddy’…atleast not in a serious way. Not because I think it’s sick though…just find it a bit porno-style over-the-top. lol
