Women’s Fashion: The Current Trend

Fashion shows and catwalks are undoubtedly fun, intriguing and entertaining to watch, but I’m pretty sure many would agree with the next three statements when it comes to them:
- They don’t actually help us find out what the next/current look is
- Most items and garments just look great on the size 0-2 models,
- If worn in real life, most garments on show would look…erm…well…odd… and inappropriate
Magazines are usually your closer bet for the best looks but as I read the current issues of all the top fashion print copies Im noticing a continuous trend in next season’s look. What about now? Lets talk about current fashion. I thought we’ll try and do it differently here at Pbleepd and discuss THIS season’s look; helping you shop for the right items to achieve a great look when you go out now rather than spring/summer - personally just thinking about summer clothes just makes me freeze inside
RED LIPSTICK
This season it is ALL about red lipstick! I personally was one who was always against sporting the colour previously and believed it would only suit really pale skin – the “snow white” look! BUT I decided to come out of my comfort zone and try it, and I must say it looks FANTASTIC – once worn correctly of course! Very seasonal too I must say!
Or if red is still too much for you, my second favourite for this season is bright pink lips
& I love L’Oreal ‘s studio secrets, blondes lip gloss – the colour stays on for a long time too! (I Highly recommend Lancombe L’anbsolu Rouge)
CHUNKY KNITS
One of Autumn/Winter’s must haves is CHUNKY KNITS! They look great & feel cosy; What’s better than keeping warm and acquiring a brilliant way to add colour to your outfit? (which can be quite hard in the cold seasons!!!) From Scarves to dresses to cardigans, they’re most definitely a good look
UNIFORM BLAZER
When this next item became fashionable, I admit I had doubts, but it definitely grew on me and soon realised it is indeed something that needs to be added to the wardrobe. It looks fantastic with skinny jeans, plain t-shirt and boots, and it can be worn smart with skirt and heels – the school uniform blazer.
A very popular choice of colour this season, which can suit any complexion and looks incredible, is bright/bubblegum pink – whether it’s a dress, t-shirt, jumper or even shoes! Ive got these stacked and ready already for the next couple months…
VIVID NAILS
FRENCH MANICURES are soooo LAST YEAR! Once upon a time we all loved fake nails and French manicures, but now they are a definite no no! It is all about short nails, painted with bold colours, especially dark ones. I’m sure you’ve spotted our favourite celebs with this…

KNEE HIGH BOOTS
The ULTIMATE MUST HAVE for this season is the over the knee boots. It looks fabulous with both flat and high heels, with jeans or a dress! They came out last year but now they are everywhere and if you don’t have one, you are definitely missing out!
Another popular footwear this season is ankle boots. Great look with skinny jeans or worn smart with dresses and skirts. Kurt Geiger has a great selection:

Nice article about what’s on trend now. These features are far from few in all the high fashion glossy’s on whats current, its always predicted.
I’ve always loved Knee high boots, but as i am on the 5′5 side, i always opt for a heeled pair.
Love the bold nails look, its on point and a great accompaniment for looks, moods and blends lol
