Last week’s battle of the titans between Barcelona and Real Madrid was dubbed “The most expensive match ever”. Indeed the La Liga bout featured two of the most expensive players in football club history (C.Ronaldo and Kaka) as well as a field (and bench) of world class players in all positions worth well into their double-figured millions.
